SPICED PARSNIP SOUP or TOMATO & BASIL SOUP (VE) (GF)

Curried parsnip soup with a warm tin loaf and butter.

HOT GOATS CHEESE TART (V)

A tartlet with a chestnut and mushroom filling, topped with goats cheese and red onion marmalade, served with a salad garnish.

SMOKED SALMON & PRAWN ROULADE (GF)

Smoked salmon with a cream cheese, prawn and chive filling, with toasted sourdough and a salad garnish.

CARTMEL VENISON & CRANBERRY TERRINE (GF)

Wrapped in Parma ham and served with a rich plum and port chutney and toasted sourdough.

MAINS

ROAST TURKEY (GF)

Served with roast potatoes, Brussel sprouts, honey roasted carrots and parsnips, chestnut stuffing, pig in blanket and turkey gravy.

VEGETARIAN WELLINGTON (V)

Chestnut mushrooms, chestnuts, onion, garlic and spinach wrapped in puff pastry. Served with roast potatoes, honey roasted carrots, vegetables and gravy.

LAMB SHANK (GF)

Slow roasted lamb, served with creamy mashed potatoes, pan fried buttered sprouts and a red wine and rosemary jus.

RED SNAPPER (GF)

Pan fried red snapper served with a lemon and tarragon stuffing, potato dumplings and honey roasted carrots with a white wine cream sauce.

BEEF BOURGUIGNON (GF)

Braised beef in a red wine gravy with creamy horseradish mash and vegetables.

DESSERTS CHRISTMAS PUDDING (V)

Plum pudding served with brandy sauce.

CHOCOLATE & BAILEYS CHEESECAKE (V)

Served with toffee fudge ice cream.

DRAMBUIE CHERRY PANCAKES (V) (GF)

Drambuie marinated black cherries served in sweet pancakes, with vanilla ice cream and fruit coulis.

A fine selection of local cheeses and biscuits, served with damson chutney, apple, grapes and celery.
