Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway

Take a steam train journey on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway which is located near Newby Bridge. Journeying in nostalgic 1950’s carriages hauled by one of our fleet of passionately restored and maintained steam locomotives. Enjoy the 3.5 mile journey on this former Furness Railway branch line to the foot of Windermere, then onwards to Bowness or Ambleside on one of Windermere Lake Cruises elegant steamers.
